I studied, asked, read forum after forum.  Still I went ahead with Vista on my new PC.

Thought I might be OK for a while and then:

Here I am w/ my new VISTA !!#@%$$#@!**^%!!
No printing, scanning, faxing now for 4 days.
Tech chat: 5-6 hours
Uninstall – reinstall – re-boot – download: 6-7 times
Infcache.1 – eaten, annialated, vanished
Forum: best help (of course)
Infcache.1 : downloaded but obviously a ghost as it invisible to Vista
Hotfix: Error !!$%#@^^%$#!
I give up – but wait I can’t -I’ve already lost two days work.
Oh ya, my favorite info. from tech support: “You need to contact Microsoft”. (me: good luck). Ok I say, sorry it took so long.  Tech: “Oh don’t feel bad its not your fault this is a known Vista problem.”
Thank goodness for Firefox – otherwise it’d have taken a week.

Note to MS: Deep Six Vista and IE & spend some of those billions to give us something that works!

Maybe then I can find time to update my blog.

Anyone else having fun with their new Vista OS?
